We are a couple in our thirties, travelers at heart, and visual artists who have fallen in love with the San Francisco Bay Area and its surroundings.

Jon
Most of my jobs have involved working with people rather than animals and I have never had pets of my own but I enjoy spending time with them whether it's walking and playing with your dog or scratching your cat behind the ear. I spend a lot of time at home reading and writing as well as editing my film projects and have found animals to be the best company.

In college, I lived in a house with 10-15 foster shelter cats while they waited for the right home and got used to waking up with a kitten on my face and typing emails and papers with the words sfdgusodfin and woihfnfin. Since graduating, I have had many different jobs from Mental Health Worker to B&B manager and am currently working freelance. I am a figurative painter and Kat and I share an art studio in Inner Richmond, San Francisco.

I have lived in New York City and Stockholm and traveled in other countries since graduating. I have often pet sat for friends' cats and dogs as well as property owner's emus, roosters and sheep and have lived with wild long-tailed macaques and kangaroos in my backyard. Animals of all kinds are a pleasure to work with and have around and I would very much enjoy the opportunity to get to know and hang out with your pets.

Kat
I grew up with Journey, Spikey, Hitchiker and Sam (a golden retriever, a cockatiel, a rescued cat and a mixed breed shaggy dog). Out of college, I bought a two family home and adopted two mischievous cats of my own. Animals tall, small, needy and independent, make me happy and I hope to make them happy.
I'm a mixed media artist and sculptor who for the past ten years has worked an array of jobs; as an art conservation tech, graphic artist and designer, assistant to a warrior-inspired pet apparel entreprenuer and co-managing a floating bed & breakfast in the San Francisco Bay, to name a few.
In 2006, I sold my home in Western Massachusetts and relocated to the central highlands of Mexico for three years and spent six months of those traveling throughout South America and working with a couple of humanitarian non-profits in Peru and Colombia.
I love the adventure of international travel and wandering foreign lands but have learned that exploring local haunts can be just as exciting and inspiring to my creative pursuits. Jon and I have had the privilege of care taking in Australia, New England and, now, the San Francisco Bay area.
